I can't think of a lovely and more tranquil place to have learned the proper skills. Although, at first a little tricky to find, the drive through historic Basto was nothing short of amazing. The center is well equiped. I am sure that I will be doing some serious shopping, first off a new paddle. I was hoping someone from Bel Haven would have introduced themselves to me, or offered help with taking my kayak to the beach.

Dave and the folks at Bel Haven are what a kayak shop should be. I always enjoy going there. Although, the seminar was free, going to Bel Haven can always be a trip where you can spend a lot!
