Meet other local paddlers.
What types of water do you like to paddle? (flatwater, rivers, open water, whitewater, etc)
Open water (ocean and bays), Pine Barrens streams, local Delaware River and its tributaries.
What skill level are you? (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
Intermediate. Have an ACA Instructor's Certificate for teaching basic skills.
Do you own your own boat(s), and if so what types?
3 sea kayaks: P & H Quest Expedition, Prijon Seayak, Dirigo. 1 surf kayak: Wilderness Systems Alamax. 1 rowing scull: Cambridge
When are you normally free to paddle?
Nights, Sundays, Mondays.

If anyone is sincere about improving their paddling skills and being part of the greater paddling community I highly recommend attending these symposia/festivals. You meet some of the geatest kayakers in the world (many from the UK) as well as other paddlers. This is undoubtedly the closest festival to South Jersey. The instructors really make you work, but the rewards are worth it!
