I love kayaking. When I'm not doing it, I'm thinking about it. And I'm always looking for new kayaking partners.
The first 3, flatwater, rivers, and open water.
More than beginner, less than intermediate (is that vague enough?).
Hurricane Expedition 128 for quiet water; Hurricane Tampico 140L for more open conditions.
Weekends.
"This is a great, very active group. Glad I discovered them."

"Okay, let me be the first to reply to my post. I was looking at their web site, and found another interesting trip- http://www.njkayak.co... Already looking forward to next year."
"I'm thinking about this in terms of next year. Would anyone be interested in spending (as the subject cleverly states) a weekend at Sedge House in Island Beach? Open the link for details- http://www.njkayak.co......"
"I was thinking about 11. It generally takes me a couple of hours to drive there. The launch site is Area 21. My cell is 215-704-1359."
"Just wanted to touch base. Are you still interested in Island Beach (or somewhere else- I'm open to suggestion) this week? Just checked the weather, and it looks to be pretty hot for the entire week. Anyone else interested also?"
"I once paddled it in a Necky Manitou 14. You could do it, but shorter would be better. It's rather twisty to begin, but opens up after a while. Gets to be rather marshy. I could be there at 9:30, but 10 would be better if that's okay...."
"This could be doable. The only day I know that I'll be busy that week is Friday the 3rd."
"I paddled there a few weeks ago. It started out just fine, but after we crossed a dam, it was horrendous for me. Lots of small spaces to negotiate with the current pulling you along...."
