Introduction
I'm the kayak addicted computer teacher! Currently running the Delaware Valley Kayakers with the help of my wonderful assistant organizers. Come join us on the water!
What types of water do you like to paddle? (flatwater, rivers, open water, whitewater, etc)
All of them!
What skill level are you? (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
Intermediate
Do you own your own boat(s), and if so what types?
Wilderness Systems Zephyr 160, Old Town Cayuga 146, QCC 500X, Yak Board, Native Watercraft Magic 12, Dagger Blackwater 11.5
When are you normally free to paddle?
During the school year on weekends and after work, during the summer, any time!

"Not a bad idea. Might be worth checking the flow gauges the night before and making the call then based on how high the river is running."

"I know what you mean, Jim! This is a really nice stretch of river, and I've been itching to do it again with higher water and fewer newbies. :) One benefit of the rain, the river should be running FAST! Wheee!..."

"Hi Brian, General rule of thumb from the ACA is that you can put away the cold water gear when the air and water temps combined add up to 120 or higher. There's a cold water safety pamphlet in the Files section that has some more info."
