If you feel comfortable in the canoe, I would go with that. The maneuverability
is what you want.
It was a hit with the paddlers. I believe Liz called it a viking ship, I did not title my photo.

Enjoy the paddle - it's a 2hr drive for me, so I'm paddling closer to home - not sure where just yet - but we are going - probably the bay/salt marshes.
Welcome to the group - as yet I have not had a chance to meet and paddle any of their events.
