Introduction

Started kayaking several years ago and hooked ever since. Enjoy wide open bays as well as flowing rivers. What better way to relax and clear your mind?

What types of water do you like to paddle? (flatwater, rivers, open water, whitewater, etc)

White water to salt water and everything in between. Favor mostly wide open bays, large rivers, and class III rapids.

What skill level are you? (beginner, intermediate, advanced)

Advanced intermediate

Do you own your own boat(s), and if so what types?

14' and 16' tsunami; wavesport diesel 80.

When are you normally free to paddle?

Weekends work best

Just a heads up on the Berkley Island trip, the JSSKA is having there picnic same place, same date. Should be a lot of kayaks around that day.

Thanks for getting back to me about this one. i think I'll pass, having never been in currents. I'd just like to get started running rivers. I took the boat out today to see how fast it turns and to get the feel of boat. I had a nice time, but it is very different than the other boats I have. I guess its better to be safe than sorry. Thanks for your input. See you next time.
