Introduction
I am a retired educator (37 years in Bridgeton) who parachutes (twice), rides a motorcycle and kayaks. My son Scott and I are looking for group of plain and simple people (just as we are) who also enjoy kayaking at new and interesting sites.
What types of water do you like to paddle? (flatwater, rivers, open water, whitewater, etc)
Ponds, lakes, streams, rivers
What skill level are you? (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
Almost intermediate (2nd year kayaking)
Do you own your own boat(s), and if so what types?
Wilderness Tsunami 120 and 9.5' Old Town
When are you normally free to paddle?
Almost any time. Like summer and spring the most.

Jerry Benfer Can't make Saturday at Parvins. Son Scott and I just spent 4 hours clearing brush and limbs and trees from stream feeding the lake. Went almost up to Centerton Road. Water is very high with a nice current. Makes for a great paddle.Apr 3Apr 2 | Details

"Brenda...I bought a Tsunami 120 at Bel Haven toward the end of last season. I love it. Not too heavy, tracks really well, lots of storage and really fun to use. Those experienced kayakers in the know tell me it was a great choice."

"Maurice River is still very fast and very high. Newspaper recently reported kayaker rescued by local fire company near Sherman Avenue. Had to get a second fire company with a larger boat and motor to rescue first fire company...."
