DESCRIPTION :
The plan is to paddle west along the shore into one of the River's feeder brooks, this is a peaceful and
undevelop area with a mix of woodlands and tidal marshes. Also we can circumnavigate the Shark River Island if our strenght allow us to do that.Please bring lunch, insect repellent,sunblock and plently of water.
SKILL LEVEL:
Beginners and up
BOAT LENGHT :
Any lenght, but longer the better

*We will be doing this trip together with Exit 91 meetup group.
*PFD are requiered

    I have know Victor from the Exit-91 kayaking club, and met some of you on the Shark River trip yesterday, and I just joined this club today. Here is a link to some of the pictures that I took at yesterday's paddle:

    yes you can rent right down the street, 4-5 blocks, can't remember the name of the place

    Hi Victor, i finally got a hold of EMS & not only do they rent out Kayaks but it also comes with PFD, so i will use their's. Thanks for

    B- i heard: Eastern Mountain Sports rents kayaks. They have stores in Eatontown and Bridgewater.

    •  It was a fun time on the water. I met a bunch of nice people who I would paddle with again. 
    •  Nice group of folks and easy-medium paddling. 
    •  GREAT DAY, meeting old friends and new,on a new river for me. Wonderful time. Thanks Victor, Todd,Rick,Penny, etc., etc, hey Bruce look out for those rocks, they almost got me.

       Beautiful day with a great group of people! Thanks so much to Victor and Todd for organizing and leading such a large group. We look forward to paddling with everyone again soon!

       Thanks to everyone that attended, it was such a nice and beautiful day and wonderful company. Also we have the chance to go swimming at the second part of the trip. 
    •  water was rough in the beginning but later on when we got out into the narrow area it began to calm down.
