DESCRIPTION:Delaware Valley Kayakers\n\nOkay folks\, we're going to try thi
 s again! Unfortunately access to the put in at the Brandywine River Museum 
 is STILL inaccessible\, because that's where they pushed all the snow when 
 they plowed. I went up to Shaw's Bridge and found the path to the river cle
 ar except for a little snow left at the end which will not be a problem. Ar
 rival time is 10 AM to set up the shuttle. If you want to go on this paddle
  you need to be at Shaw's Bridge by 10am\, so we can get things going for t
 he shuttle and get on the water asap.\nAlthough the Brandywine is an easy e
 xit river\, it is full and the current will still be strong. PFDS ARE REQUI
 RED\, AS ARE COLD WATER GEAR. WET SUITS\, DRY SUITS ARE MANDATORY AT THIS T
 IME. Even though things seem to be warming up the river is full of snow mel
 t and REALLY cold. I know I stuck my hand in it today. BRRRRRRRR. There wil
 l be two portages necessary on this paddle\, one at the Picnic Park and the
  other at the Wyeth Dam. Make sure you have good foot wear as well.\nSkill 
 level for this paddle is all levels\, if you are properly outfitted.\n\nEas
