This year, our big trip north is to Casco Bay, Maine. This gorgeous area provides lots of paddling opportunities. The bay itself is full of islands to paddle around and explore. There are also tons of other bays, inlets, and rivers nearby to paddle. We'll have the chance to do both some ocean paddling as well as some protected area paddling. Casco Bay is also reasonably close to Kittery, Maine - home of both the wonderful Kittery Trading Post and tons of outlet stores.

We'll be in Maine July 24-31. Plan to arrive on the evening of the 24th and depart for home the morning of the 31st. Campsites are available at Thomas Point Beach Campground. This is peak vacation time, so I recommend booking campsites as soon as possible.

I'm renting a house just down the road from the campground for the week, and will be hosting dinners in the evenings. The house also has private access to the Bay, so we can coordinate most launchings from there. :)

If you are unable to stay for the entire week, that's fine! Come stay as long as you can.
