DESCRIPTION:Delaware Valley Kayakers\n\nCome on out an join us for our seas
 on kickoff at Bull's Island on the Delaware River!  This is one of our favo
 rite campgrounds\, with sites for both tents and RVs.  We'll arrive on Frid
 ay the 16th and set up camp before spending an evening around the campfire.
   Saturday morning we'll head up river to launch and have a leisurely paddl
 e back down to the island. Saturday night\, join us for our traditional pot
  luck dinner and more campfire fun.  Sunday morning\, those feeling up to i
 t can paddle some more before heading home.  \n\nI'll talk to the campgroun
 d and try to arrange a block of sites for us as usual.\n\nIf you are unable
  to stay for the weekend\, feel free to join us just for Saturday!  Please 
 indicate when you RSVP if you plan to attend for the entire weekend or just
  Saturday.\n\nWe'll have several paddle options for Saturday's paddle.  Tho
 se wanting a shorter paddle can do the Kingwood launch to Bull's Island\, a
 nd those who want a longer paddle can put in at Milford\, or even a bit fur
 ther up.  We'll finalize details a little closer to the date.  See you ther

 :00am.\n\n\n****UPDATE****\nRiver Routes:\n\nWe'll have two options for rou
 tes on Saturday.  \nThose wanting a shorter run will be dropped off at King
 wood Access for a 7 mile float down to Bull's Island. - About a 2-3 hour ru
 n depending on current and paddle speed.\nThose wanting a longer run will c
 ontinue up to Lock #20 on the PA Side (16 miles). - About 5-6 hours dependi
 ng on current and paddle speed.\n\nWe will leave the campground for the lau
 nch sites NO LATER THAN 9am so we can launch by 10.\nThose camping out Frid
 ay night\, we'll have a short meeting around 8pm Friday to consolidate boat
 s and set up carpooling.  All boats and gear should be loaded and ready to 
 roll by 9am.  \nThose meeting us on Saturday\, please be at the campground 
 by 8:30am.  \nWe will arrange a shuttle for both runs.\n\nBoth trips are ea
 sy runs and suitable for all boat types and skill levels.  However\, the lo
 nger paddle is just that - LONGER\, and will require fairly steady paddling
  for most of it.  \n\nSunday we will probably do the Kingwood-> Bull's Isla
 nd run for anyone who wants a short paddle before we leave. \n\n\nStockton\
