Ron, I am going to say we will be staying in our boats. The tide should be up enough and I dont forsee us having to get out. I hope this helps.

Have to ask a dumb question. Will tide be high enough that we would not have to get out at anytime along the paddle. Reason I ask is that I got an injection in my knee last week and not sure in I want to overstress my knee. I am a maybe for now.

2 p.m. might be a stretch for me. No worries though start without me if I'm not there.

What a GREAT day ...the weather was beautiful It could not have been better. It has been a while for me since I have been out on the water and it felt soooo good! The creek was high and we got to explore the upper part that we rarely get to. We then paddled down stream alittle. It was a all around GREAT day. I love my kayak family. Thanks to all that came out!

The weather was wonderfully non-January-like, the water level seemed just right for avoiding most of the mud-bars, and it was a fun paddle too.

Great to get out on the water after weeks of bitter, bitter cold weather. Good time was had by all!

Who could believe that it was January out on the water? What a beautiful day and what a great bunch of people. It was a nice easy paddle. We started at the Cove St. put in, paddled upstream until we ran out of water. A couple of us decided to paddle/pole vault ourselves over a beaver dam, while the current was against us! That got us a few more minutes of creek to paddle before we had to turn around because it was too shallow. The day went fast - full of good conversation and a lovely paddle. Thanks for this one, Lauren. Good job with the organization!

Thank you Lauren for organizing this paddle. The weather was a gift. Many wildlife sites up and down the creek. Great to see all my friends out on this paddle. Warm , fuzzy feelings ;)
    •  The weather is such a tease, after today I am ready for Spring! We had a gorgeous afternoon and a fun, friendly group for our paddle. The creek was an easy ride, and we saw lots of birds and beaver sign. Paddled up the creek until a beaver dam blocked the way, then turned and paddled downstream for a while before finally heading back to the launch site. A perfect way to spend the day!
